Project Five: The Shot For my final project, I wanted to make something funny and absurd. While you can see the plot in my storyboard, to summarize it, we follow a stray beer pong ball that makes its way around the world. I've been wanting to make something with the song "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard" by Paul Simon for a while, and I feel like the context of my video is the right vibe for the song. I am taking inspiration from "Regular Show" playing into the c haos of when a tiny moment spirals into something absurdly huge. The key is escalation, and I want each bounce to feel bigger, weirder, and less logical than the last. I'm going to use this glass shatter effect, for whenever the ball goes through the apartment window.

Project 4: Social Media PSA: Final
March 30th PSA Project Update: Currently I am running a little behind on this project, and haven't made any progress. I plan on working on it throughout the week and weekend!

Project 4: Personal Service Announcement Storyboard My PSA is going to be about scrolling on your phone, and how social media platforms are designed to grab your attention. I just recently watched "The Social Dilemma" on Netflix, in which top CEO's and marketers basically out the companies they work for and say that their digital marketing strategy has become so successful and optimized that its literally evil. Their algorithms and interfaces are designed to keep you interested and hooked because that what makes them money, so much so that people loose hours on their phone when they think its been minutes, and younger generations are becoming depressed and anxious. It's a crazy documentary, and it plays with a si-fi theme of having these algorithms appear as people and sentient, which is something I'm interested in developing further. I think it would be cool to start my PSA with the phone is a dark room, and have the screen illuminate and burst with light.

Project 3: Space Infographic : Final

Project 3: Infographic For my infographic project I want to talk about space. I've always been fascinated with space and how unfathomable it is for us to wrap our heads around. I've created a little spaceman as my main character, and I've got a VERY brief storyboard below. I think I've got the main story outlined, however each frame of the storyboard will go into much more detail than what is presented below. Let me know what you think!
